Madison Energy Corp. launched itself into the oil and gas industry in 2004. Although still a young junior oil and gas company, Madison Energy's progress is fuelled by an expert team with decades of experience in the natural resources sector.

Incorporated in 1974, the company moved its base from Vancouver to Calgary in 2003. In 2004, the Company expanded it’s natural-resource based plan to focus on oil and gas development and production. Madison Energy drilled its first successful well in November 2004 in Garrington, Alberta, and currently has interests in four areas for exploration and development.

With low debt, low overhead, tax pools unhampered by expiry dates, and an inventory of land to drill, Madison Energy is positioned for rapid growth in Canada's natural resource sector.
